Girls in Power Program
Five of our Year 9 students participated in the two-day Girls in Power program — an inspiring initiative aimed at encouraging young women to explore careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
Day one sparked excitement, with students diving into hands-on activities such as making extension leads and connecting circuits. These practical experiences not only build technical skills but also boost confidence and curiosity in STEM fields.
Programs like Girls in Power play a vital role in breaking down barriers and showing students the possibilities that lie ahead. We’re proud of our students for embracing the challenge and look forward to seeing how this experience shapes their future aspirations.
